Absolutely! Love is love is love and my job is to capture that in all its forms and all its beauty. Who you love is your right, your privilege, your identity, and I am just thrilled that I get to play a small role in your amazing journey together.

Short answer: typically 500 – 600 on a full day and 200 – 300 for a shorter day or micro-wedding.

Longer answer: Every wedding is totally unique, from the length of the day down to the length of the dress. Some will be beautifully traditional, some will be wacky and off-the-wall. Some will be adults-only and some will have clowns and magicians to entertain all the kids. Some will be grand, all-day affairs with 200 guests, some will be small, intimate occasions with just the nearest and dearest. You get the idea!

For this reason, I don’t give an exact figure as to how many photos you will receive. I only want to deliver the very best images from your day, and this is unlikely to correlate to a specific, round number. I would likely have to either cut out photos I really wanted to include to come down to that number or include photos I otherwise wouldn’t have to make up the volume, both of which would detract from the overall quality of your wedding album.

So I will deliver however many great photos I get from your day. But as a rough, ballpark figure, that will typically be 500 – 600 for a full wedding day and 200 – 300 for a shorter day or micro-wedding.

Being based in Milton Keynes, I am well-placed centrally to travel all over the UK and am always eager to see new and exciting venues.

I have not yet shot an overseas wedding but it is something I would jump at the chance to cover, so please get in contact if you are planning something more far-flung or exotic!

UK WEDDINGS:
I will not charge for travel for most UK weddings. The only exceptions would be if I had to fly to a more remote location or across to Ireland, for example. But generally speaking, if I can drive there, the petrol is on me! Although not literally, hopefully.

The location and/ or the timing of your day might mean I need to stay at a hotel the night before. This is because I would usually need to be with you by 11.00 (if not earlier), and frankly you don’t want a photographer who has been up since 04.00 and driving since 05.00 to spend 10 hours on their feet photographing the most important day of your lives! I need to be sharp and at my best to capture you at your best. So, if a hotel is needed, I will add on this cost to your package (I don’t have expensive hotel taste – a Travelodge is more than adequate!). I will, of course, discuss this with you fully and transparently before any bookings or agreements are made.

OVERSEAS WEDDINGS:
If your wedding is outside the UK, the travel and accommodation expenses obviously become more significant and so this would be added to your package. Reasonable travel tickets and hotel rates would be sourced at the earliest opportunity and agreed upon with you before booking.

The short answer to that is no, not for weddings. Whilst I dabble in videography for other jobs, it is its own distinct and complex discipline. Your wedding day should be presided over and captured by people who are experts in their craft, and my expertise lies very much in the world of still photography.
